Our Very First Duck Egg!

Today marks the very first day of our Duck Squad adventures! When we went to feed and change out pool water, we found this amazingly beautiful duck egg!

New Additions!

We are pleased to announce the arrival of two new birds to the Duck Squad, that were given to us on the fourth of July! We have named them Big Bird and Dante. 

Dante, we are told, is supposed to be a mallard. As for Big Bird, no one knows for sure what she is. The people that gave her to us said they thought she was probably a goose.

Our Duck Squad

Our Duck Squad consists of three ducks (Hopefully more soon! That is, if I can get away with it..hehe) with their own distinct personalities! Their names are Goofy Cotton, Moonbeam, and Starlight. 

We actually had bought Goofy Cotton which is a Crested Peking duck and another duck named Flippers at Tractor Supply. Flippers is no longer with us because he was strangled by a snake and unfortunately died  when he was about a month old.
